Picture is a Cuban refugee boat, that landed on a beach outside of the air strip on Geiger Key in outside of Key West, Florida. Twenty one people arrived on this boat, and the remnants of their items were scattered all over the beach.

There was a bag of grain, medical saline bags, wafers, clothes, shoes and socks. They had to leave all of that on the beach and were take from there by authorities to Catholic Charities.

Today if they land on the beach they are sent back. This was one of the last boats of people that were granted the freedom to stay here.
